Shinjuku is an unbeatable base for exploring Tokyo, and this hotel is a perfect example of why we love visiting Japan — exceptional cleanliness, world-class service, and seamless efficiency. Not to mention the food :) This hotel is huge, and despite the number of guests, the staff were consistently courteous, calm, and helpful. Our corner room on the 19th floor even had views of Mt Fuji — an unexpected and beautiful bonus. Worth getting a bigger room. Large, luxurious lobby and well-organised luggage storage system for early check-ins. The train station is at the front door with lots of major attractions (shrines/temples/gardens/shopping) also within walking distance, and there was even an evening Godzilla light show at the Government building across from the hotel. Rooms were spacious, safe, and well-maintained. The on-site gym was small but well equipped, and having a 7-Eleven right downstairs was incredibly convenient and the fruit smoothies were delicious. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, especially the health tonics. After a disappointing experience elsewhere during our trip, we rebooked this hotel again later in our holiday, and it was just as excellent the second time. Consistently high standards, reliable consistency, and thoughtful service. Full credit to the management and team. A highly rated and recommended Tokyo hotel.

Location is in the Shinjuku area. So, technically when you stay here, you are near all the happening places. Shopping and eating at great places is just about 600-800min walk. We visited during the Sakura Season (Cherry Blossoms) and proximity to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Park was another bonus. It's recommended to go for the Premier Grand rooms - on higher floors. That's what we had with us and that's what most of the reviews will tell you too. They have a disney shuttle bus service everyday. You need to book your seat in advance but no payment required. Breakfast for the premier room guests is on the 45th Floor. Two great advantages from this feature - no need to wait in queue for breakfast and get to see exciting views from 45th floor. Breakfast spread is decent but not exemplary. Service is good and friendly. Front desk/concierge/Housekeeping/bell services are all satisfactory.

We booked a Club Floor "Premium Grand" Superior King Room. This was not cheap but comparable in price to other hotels of the same standard (family staying at a "name" hotel nearby insisted the Keio Plaza was of a higher quality). The room was generous in size at 34 m2. Located on the upper floors with access to executive lounge (breakfast, lunch and evening canapes and drinks were available in the lounge, which never appeared overly busy). The staff were wonderful and always helpful. We were in Tokyo for eight days and the lounge provided a wonderful alternative to the room. Breakfasts were generous with a chef available to cook eggs to your desired style. The hotel complex contained many restraurants and we are almost tempted to return to try them (we spent all our time eating at places throughout Tokyo). If you can, it's definitely worth booking a room that gives you access to the lounge.

This was an amazing hotel to start our trip to Japan. The Airport Limousine bus dropped us off at the door step. We booked the free Disney shuttle to and from DisneySea. We also started our Mt Fuji daytrip booked on Klook from across the road. Shinjuku train station and subway were were less than 10 min walk. We walked to Golden Gai and Kabukicho one night when we did a self guided walking tour around Shinjuku. Always felt safe. The room was one of the largest we stayed in Japan. We booked the Superior Plus - Twin Room in the main tower with breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with amazing service. The concierge and front desk were happy to chat and answer any questions. We had access to the SKY PLAZA IBASHO on level 47 and sitting up there with a cup of tea/coffee/soft drink after a long day of sightseeing was a bonus. I can’t fault this hotel and would stay again.

The hotel is very impressive and expansive. The room was also really nice with an incredible view. We were in the south tower and looked out straight onto the Government building, which has a nightly light projection show. This started about 15 minutes after we checked in on the first night and it was incredible. We also could see Mt Fuji alongside the government building when it was clear one morning. The hotel is close to Shinjuku station and the expressway airport bus terminal, which the staff helped us out with as we needed to get a 5am bus to the airport. We also used the Disney shuttle bus which worked great. There are some nice places to eat just a couple of streets away and there is a Natural Lawson just nearby which is a great convenience store for those looking for some more vegetarian options.
